Your WPS305 motion detector measures: 52x30x26.5mm Its compact and sober shape allows it to remain discreet in your interior decoration.
The motion detector is powered by 2 AA 1.5V alkaline batteries. Battery life will depend on the number of openings per day. For normal use, the battery lasts approximately 1 year. When it is empty, you will receive an alert notification to replace it.
In order to improve battery life and avoid repeated triggering, this detector is equipped with an automatic standby system. When arming the system and after each detection, it goes into standby for approximately 4-5 minutes.
For the use of this accessory to be optimized, you must respect certain installation conditions. Position the detector 2m/2m10 from the ground with an inclination of 10° towards the ground. Avoid positioning your animal-compatible motion detector facing imposing furniture or stairs on which your animal could climb. If you do not respect these criteria, its performance will be reduced and you risk having unwanted triggers.

Where to place the motion detector?
The motion detector can be fixed in a corner or flat on a wall. It can be easily attached to the wall using the double-sided adhesives located on the back of the detector or with the screws provided. Corner mounting ensures the most coverage, so we recommend installing it in the corner of a room rather than flat on a wall. It must be placed in a passage area in order to maximize the chances of detection in the event of an intrusion.
