Daewoo - Door contactor WDS301
This WDS301 door contactor allows you to obtain the status of your door or window.
In the event of opening, and therefore a potential intrusion, you will be immediately informed by notification on the dedicated DAEWOO HOME CONNECT control application.
Wireless, this device can be installed on your interior doors and windows to ensure the protection of your family and your property.
Its installation is very easy. Add the accessory from your control panel or from your Daewoo Home Connect mobile application. Consider renaming it according to the location within your home. You will then be able to determine which door and/or window is open. Then attach part of the accessory to your front door and the other part to its frame using the 3M sticker included. If necessary and depending on the supports, it may be recommended to add a dot of glue to ensure the accessory is properly fixed. You can install this contactor at a maximum distance of 90 meters.
Main Features
Your WDS301 door contactor measures: 70 × 31.5 × 15.5 mm (large room), 70 × 11 × 13.5 mm (small room) Its compact and sober shape allows it to remain discreet in your interior decoration.
The spacing between the two parts of the detector has a tolerance of 1 to 2 cm. If your door does not completely stick to its frame, you can still install this accessory.
Please note, this accessory will only trigger if the two parts of the detector are separated. If someone breaks into your home by breaking the glass of the window on which you have placed the door contactor, the accessory will not be triggered. For this scenario, you can increase security by using a WVD301 vibration detector.

How does the door switch work?
The contactor is made up of two parts connected by a magnet. If these two parts separate (for example, when opening a door), the detector transmits a signal to the control panel, triggering an alarm if the system is armed.
How to install the door switch?
• Pair the contactor to your control unit via the Daewoo Home Connect application or directly from the control unit's touch screen.
• Attach one part of the contactor to the door and the other to its frame using the included 3M adhesives.
• Rename the contactor in the application to identify its location.
How long does the battery last?
The contactor uses two CR2450 batteries, offering a battery life of approximately 1 year in normal use. You will receive a notification when the batteries are low.
Can it detect an intrusion if the glass is broken without opening the window?
No, the contactor only trips if the two parts are separated. To increase safety in the event of glass breakage, you can use a WVD301 vibration detector.
Is the contactor suitable for all windows and doors?
Yes, as long as it is possible to align the two parts of the detector when closing the door or window.
What happens if the connection to the control unit is cut?
The contactor will not be able to transmit a signal. Make sure that the distance between the contactor and the control unit does not exceed the specified limit and that nothing interferes with the radio connection.
